Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Sanitation Technician to support cleaning and sanitation operations within a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring equipment, production areas, and the facility meet strict food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in industrial sanitation and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, compliant, and safe production environment.
Responsibilities

Perform sanitation of production equipment, processing lines, and facility areas following established procedures

Disassemble and reassemble equipment for deep cleaning and sanitation

Use cleaning chemicals and sanitation agents safely and effectively according to company and OSHA guidelines

Follow all food safety standards, including HACCP, SQF, and GMP requirements

Complete sanitation logs and documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness for production

Support pre-operational inspections and address any sanitation deficiencies

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams

Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all safety protocols
Qualifications

Previous experience in industrial or food manufacturing sanitation required

Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SQF, or similar food safety standards

Experience working with sanitation chemicals and cleaning equipment (hoses, foamers, pressure washers, CIP systems)

Ability to disassemble and reassemble production equipment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and compliance

Ability to work in wet, cold, or varying temperature environments

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts, including nights or weekends
